Let me take you on a journey down 90 minutes of Pure Serenity…

Nestled in the heart of Pendle, Lancashire, Inside Spa offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Known for its calming nature and wide range of wellness spa treatments, this hidden gem is the perfect haven to unwind and rejuvenate.

I recently experienced the delights of one of their bespoke treatments, aptly named Pure Serenity. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the lovely spa staff to get checked in, before being led to my treatment room. The space was warm, fragrant, and calming, the perfect ambience. I was able to get comfortable before my therapist arrived into the room; my only concern was to resist the urge to drift off into a peaceful sleep.

The Pure Serenity treatment started with a back cleanse and exfoliation. If you’re anything like me and struggle to reach every inch of your back when in the shower without becoming some sort of contortionist, this was the perfect way to fully restore the skin.

Once cleansed, the therapist began an Aromatherapy massage. If I wasn’t already on the verge of sleep, the Aromatherapy oils only deepened my relaxed state. The massage was pure bliss for my shoulders, back and neck, expertly targeting the areas of tension that I’d discussed before my treatment. You really don’t realise the impact of a knot until you’re humbled by a trained specialist kneading them out of your body.

After what already felt like a wonderful day out, the second half of the treatment was still yet to come. Turning over on the treatment bed, it was time for the Taste of Germaine facial. With my eyes closed, it was difficult to know exactly what my skin was experiencing at each stage of the treatment, other than what can only be described as the most TLC it has ever had. Being unsure of my skin type was no problem for my therapist who navigated the required Germaine de Capuccini products needed to leave my face feeling rejuvenated and radiant. To complete the bespoke treatment, I was treated to a tranquil scalp massage using a Germaine hair serum that left my hair feeling hydrated, nourished, and feeling silky soft with a lovely shine the next day.

In a state of pure serenity, my therapist advised that I could take my time to come around and get myself re-dressed. Alas, this didn’t mean I could stay for an extra 90-minute nap…imagine! With a cold glass of water, and guided back to the spa entrance, I emerged feeling like a new woman.
